Life: Plans and Progress
The best thing you can do for your life is to write down a plan for it. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, everybody needs a written plan. A plan helps you know where you are, it gives you a vision of where you want to go, and it helps you understand what is required to get there. Don’t become one of those “accomplished” unfulfilled people; a nice resume can’t comfort a passionless heart. Instead of aimlessly making moves, start ordering your steps to make the right moves; life is chess and success depends on strategy. If the move isn’t a power move or positioning you to make one, it’s wasting your time. Don’t get so active that your actions become ineffective, if what you’re doing isn’t productive, it’s unnecessary. And don’t limit production to “work”, sometimes it’s just having spontaneous fun to produce smiles. You need to have a balance because life gets hectic, and the faster the day’s pass, the easier it is to start feeling behind. Make sure your priorities are in order. Most of the frustrations in your life are the consequences of your poor decisions. Start thinking ahead, if you don’t have a back up plan for your back up plan then you’re setting yourself up to lose. Progress is a process. You’ll have ups and downs; just don’t let your new highs cause you to drop down to the old lows. Every time you fall your “low” should be higher, if you’re hitting rock bottom every time, you need to lay a new foundation. You can’t fall victim to regression, that old stagnant mindset you used to have deserves to stay where you left it. Don’t get discouraged just because you feel like things are moving slow. Timing is everything, so the wait should only strengthen you. When you get to where you’re going, you want to be there to stay. You don’t want to get there too fast and fall off. Progress is a matter of patience. If where you’re trying to go doesn’t require a journey, it means you’re going nowhere. You can’t have the most expectations with the least amount of work ethic. Grind in a way that makes success the only option. There are no shortcuts to success. Even when it looks like it happened “overnight”, it didn’t. Don’t let what’s happening or not happening for others cause you to doubt what God has for you. If God put it in your heart, it’s only a matter of time before it manifest before your eyes.

Just my thoughts good people, just my thoughts
